Dr. Holly Christy
Dr. Holly Christy’s mission is to help her patients balance their lives by using naturopathic medicine and acupuncture modalities. As a primary care physician, Dr. Christy addresses all general healthcare needs including preventative maintenance, management of chronic disease, treatment of acute ailments, annual and school exams, blood tests, and fittings for custom orthotics. She also provides adjunctive care for cancer patients.
Dr. Christy uses Dr. Richard Tan's Balance Method acupuncture, which is an advanced acupuncture style based on historical Chinese texts, including the I Ching. This method is very effective and can have an immediate affect on acute pain and internal disorders. Dr. Tan says, "We're taking acupuncture into the digital age." Each acupuncture visit is an hour long and the needles are usually retained for 30-45 minutes while you rest comfortably on a Jade Far Infrared heated table.
A lifelong Washingtonian, Dr. Christy received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington, her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and Master of Acupuncture from Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Seattle. She has been practicing since 2000.
