So where does the name Element 7 Wellness come from?
We’ve heard some interesting guesses.
The name came organically as a group of us were discussing what our vision is for a healing center. We wrote down all the elements of wellness that we could think of and came up with 7. Element 7 Wellness was born that day, although our collective dream of an integrated wellness center started long before.
Our goal
is to provide a safe, grounded and healing environment for patients to share their story. We acknowledge that every patient will encounter hardship in every element somewhere along their journey.
There are many different types
of practitioners needed from each of the elements to act as our teachers, mentors and guides. Element 7 Wellness promotes wellness and acknowledgement of all the elements, but ultimately is primarily focused on physical and mental elements. In time, our goal is to create a healing center where all the elements can be addressed by a collaborative group of providers in the same location. Currently, we honor and recognize other practitioners and resources available to address each individual element below.

Emotional wellness affects our openness,
our willingness to try new things, how we interact with our family, friends, and others. Emotional freedom and expression are important for the full expression of who we are. Whether untangling the awkward hard-wired emotions from our past or learned behaviours as an adult, emotional dysfunction is often at least a component of most healing.
Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT is a powerful self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials have shown that EFT is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. Once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.

Spiritual
Spirituality is unique to each individual.
Your “spirit” usually refers to the deepest part of you, the part that lets you make meaning of your world. Your spirit provides you with the revealing sense of who you are, why you are here and what your purpose for living is. It is that innermost part of you that allows you to gain strength and hope.
Spiritual wellness may not be something that you think much of,
yet its impact on your life is unavoidable. The basis of spirituality is discovering a sense of meaningfulness in your life and coming to know that you have a purpose to fulfill.
Environmental
Many contributors to modern disease are from pollution,
including airborne pollution, insustrial chemicals, and commercial/agricultural/industrial pollution. The changing enviroment also causes changing nutritional requirements for further resilience and proper nutritional status. All life on earth is impacted in very direct ways to changes in our environment.
